If you are looking for a Model 88 hunting rifle this is it. Priced way below collectors prices as it show use but not abuse. Functions perfectly and bore is excellent. Barrel has what appears to be scabbard use with rubbed blueing. There is one spot on the top of the barrel that shows minor pitting. Has had a scope on it at one time and there are marks under the scope bases that will be covered when you mount a scope. There are some glue marks running from the grip cap and I would guess that someone put some glue under it. Grip cap has rough edges. Stock is very sound with no cracks, not even behind the tang. Gun is all original with Winchester butt plate. A perfect hunting rifle priced right at $495.00. Will ship to FFL in the lower 48 states for $35.00.
