*Sale Pending* - WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 - 1976 U.S. BICENTENNIAL CARBINE - COMMEMORATIVE IN 30-30 WIN
Description:
Winchester made 19,999 of the 1976 U.S. Bicentennial Carbines. Features a 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in 30 WCF caliber. Bore is surprisingly good. Barrel and mag tube are a thinning blue with a little bit of oxidation and handling marks. Original sights. Complete with saddle ring. The receiver shows a silver finish with factory engraving. Left side marked with an engraved border and US Bald Eagle. The right side is marked with an engraved border and 76 surrounded by 13 stars. Wood appears to have been changed as this one does not have the deluxe checkered wood. There is a medallion for the NRA Centennial 1871-1971 on the right side. This wood is rather dark and may have been too close to a fire at one time in it's life. Buttplate still retains most of it's blue. These were made as a Limited Edition in 1976 and most of the ones you find are brand new in the box. This one has no box and has been used quite a bit. Action still functions properly. This is a shooter that you can take out and not feel bad about scratching it.
