1866 to 1966 Winchester Centennial '66 Commemorative Model 1894 w/ Box, Paperwork
** Beautiful & Unfired Model 94 **
Description:
This Winchester Centennial '66 Model 94 Saddle Ring Carbine in .30-30 Winchester caliber is unfired and in beautiful condition. It comes complete with the original boxes and paperwork it left the factory with in 1966 when it was new. The Centennial '66 Model 94 features a gold-finished receiver, forend cap, and buttplate, with a blued steel 20" octagon barrel, saddle ring, bolt, floorplate, and lever. It is meant to resemble the original Winchester Model 1866 that it commemorates. This Winchester is unfired and would be flat-mint if not for just a tiny bit of rust at the front of the loading port on the right side of the receiver (close-up picture provided of this spot). As it sits with that deduction it rates 99%. The rest of the gun is flawless, there is no finish wear, scratches, dings, or handling marks anywhere. The bore is minty and bright with perfect sharp rifling. The factory gloss-finished Walnut stock set is like-new and free from any wear, cracks, chips, repairs, or handling/storage marks. The action on this Model 94 is tight and new, and the internals of this Centennial are perfect with no visible wear. The action has probably only been opened a handful of times in the last few decades to wipe everything down. All of the controls on this Winchester are in perfect working order. As mentioned previously, this Centennial '66 comes with both the original outer sleave and box it shipped in with an intact end label serial numbered to this gun, as well as the papework that shipped with it originally. As you can see in the pictures the outer box sleave with the artwork shows some wear and tear but the inner box is in great shape, as-is the paperwork that comes with it. If you have been looking for a nice vintage Winchester commemorative to add to your collection this 1966 Winchester Centennial '66 would be a great choice, and should continue to be a very good long-term investment as well as a beautiful display piece.
