ONE OWNER Winchester Model 94 Trapper 16" SRC Top Eject 30-30 Made 1980 FIRST YEAR
Description: Winchester Model 94 16" Trapper Saddle Ring Carbine, caliber 30-30, serial number 4867666, has been with original owner since purchased new in 1980. Features the original top eject design with no push button or tang safety and no rebounding hammer! Full magazine, 5-shot capacity, walnut stocks, open sights, and shotgun butt with black plastic butt plate are the standard features. Receiver is also factory-drilled and tapped for a receiver sight, which retain the original plug screws. Consignor states he purchased this brand new in October, 1980 (which was the first year this variation was produced) and has taken a couple of whitetail bucks with it in the Catskill Mountains of New York State, but mainly used it at the rifle range and kept it a "safe queen" for many years. Unfortunately he lost the box and paperwork years ago, so you are getting the firearm only. CONDITION: All metal surfaces retain 97% of the original factory blue, with the only wear on the hammer. Original stocks retain all the varnish and show only a handful of very light handling marks. No damage, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished, no splits, no cracks, and no damage to the factory butt plate. Action is tight and crisp. Half cock safety functions as it should. Bore is mint, bright and shiny. Tip of front sight was cleaned to make it shiny for a better sight picture. This is a highly desirable top eject Trapper Winchester Model 94 in outstanding condition!!
