Scarce Winchester Model 94AE XTR 7-30 Waters 24" Rifle
Description: Scarce Winchester Model 94AE XTR rifle in caliber 7-30 Waters, which is a 30-30 case necked down to take a 7mm bullet. This is the AE (angle eject) receiver and XTR finish in the 24" barrel version, which was only available for two years in the late 1980s. This is 100% original, including the sights and red rubber butt pad, which is darkening due to age. Bluing is 99% with one inch of loss along the bottom of receiver next to the plate. Mint bore. Stocks excellent with the original checkering extremely sharp. Receiver is factory-drilled for scope mounts and has the original plug screws intact. No scope or mounts have ever been on this rifle. I have fired this rifle and it is deadly accurate. I put at total of 9 rounds through it, and the last group of three rounds out there at 50 yards you could cover with a nickel. No box or paperwork included. Made in the New Haven plant before the shutdown and will be increasing in value over time to become a rare collectible in its own right. Ammo for this rifle selling in another listing. No international sales. Ships to US addresses only in a hard case for protection for $50. Must ship to FFL only.
