WInchester Model 1894 Rifle in 32 WInchester Special. The barrel is marked \"32WS\" and \"Nickel Steel Barrel Especially for Smokeless Powder.\" The tang is marked \"model 1894 Winchester PAT AUG 21 1894.\" The magazine tube has been replaced at some point with a carbine length tube. Also, the front sight insert is missing. The bluing, especially on the receiver is almost all gone, but the blueing on the barrel is still in reasonably good shape. The buttstock does have a reasonbly large crack right through it. It doesn‚t go all the way through the stock from side side, but it does start right behind the wrist near the comb and goes all the way back to the buttplate.
