**SOLD** Winchester Model 1894 94 Illinois Sesquicentennial 1968 Commemorative Saddle Ring Carbine **Very Good Condition - Minty - 1968**
Description:
**SOLD** Here we have a minty Winchester Model 1894 94 Illinois Sesquicentennial 1968 Commemorative Saddle Ring Carbine in .30-30 Winchester caliber. The Winchester Model 1894 rifle (also known as the Winchester 94 or Model 94) is a lever-action repeating rifle that became one of the most famous and popular hunting rifles of all time. It was designed by John Browning in 1894 and originally chambered to fire two metallic black powder cartridges, the .32-40 Winchester and .38-55 Winchester. It was the first rifle to chamber the smokeless powder round, the .30 WCF (Winchester Center Fire, in time becoming known as the .30-30) in 1895. This particular example is in outstanding physical and mechanical condition. It appears to have been lightly used and carried. There are very light handling marks. The 20 inch round barrel has a great bore with very strong rifling. The front sight is a hooded ramped blade and the rear is adjustable. This fine Winchester would make a great addition to a collection or an excellent way to start a new collection. No box or paperwork.
PRICE: $800.00 We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, a dealer of fine firearms since 1974.
