Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer the Winchester Model 94 XTR “Michigan Lawman Commemorative” .30-30 rifle, produced in 1979, under a very limited production run. Featuring a 20-inch blued barrel, gold (or the rarely seen silver) plated receiver, lever, hammer, trigger guard, and barrel bands. All of which is adorned with fine checkered walnut furniture and intricate Michigan-themed engravings, floral scrollwork, state police insignias, badges, and the outline of Michigan itself. The left side of the receiver bears the inscription “Michigan Lawman Michigan State Police Commemorative,” while the right-side reads “ONE OF ONE THOUSAND,” indicating its limited production. Equipped with a hooded front sight and adjustable rear sight, and full-length magazine tube. This still and 94 and thus, the XTR models are distinguished by their premium features, including a deep blue finish and a checkered walnut stock and forend. This example plated in silver, much rarer than the gold plated!!! is in 99.5% factory condition, comes with its box and associated paperwork, and is unfired!!!  Of the one thousand Michigan Lawman 94 XTR rifles ever made, only a handful were produced with factory silver plating. A great collection addition for the die-hard Winchester commemorative collector or just someone looking for the crown jewel for their lever gun display.
