Manufactured 1978 this rifle is in Very good condition for the year. The bore is in excellent condition. Mirror finish with sharp like new rifling. The wood is in very good condition with no major dents dings or scratches. THe front sight hood is still intact (usually these are one of the first pieces to go missing). The action is solid and tight. The receiver has some freckling as can be seen in the pictures this is only on the receiver. The barrel has no signs of rust or freckling. Very nice little 30-30. Has the Winchester Proof quality marks on the barrel and the receiver.
