Winchester ~ 9422 XTR ~ .22 S, L, LR

Description:
This 1982 right-handed lever action rifle is a Winchester 9422 XTR chambered in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle. About 1978, Winchester introduced the checkered XTR's which had a better grade walnut than the previous XTR's, and much better than the Standards - which eventually were discontinued. The "XTR" means "eXTRa finished". This rifle has a hooded blade front sight, an adjustable rear sight, a hard black plastic Winchester butt plate, a serrated curved trigger, and a serrated hammer. The bluing is in very good to excellent condition, with a very negligible 4 mm area of thinning on the left side of the receiver. The wood fore arm and butt stock are in very good to excellent condition, with only very minimally noticeable handling wear throughout. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
