This rifle features a unique early semi automatic design from Winchester, with a small lightweight and handy sizing, walnut furniture, and a takedown feature allowing for easy transport. The rifle also has a blued finish, and the bolt is operated by the rod on the front of the forearm. The rifle is in good working order with some signs of age and regular use, as shown. The rifle appears to be sporting its original finish, with loss and wear on the receiver, but original blueing on the barrel. Two small spits can be seen where the receiver meets the stock wood, as shown. The action is smooth and operable, and the bore looks to be in good shape. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. This is a great little collectible rifle, and a nice candidate for restoration! Please note that the firearm is designed for .22 Win.
