Winchester ~ Thumb Trigger ~ 22 Shot/Long/Extra Long

Description:
Winchester Thumb Trigger in 22 Short/Long /Extra long with a 22" barrel. The rifle is fired by depressing the trigger located behind the bolt with your thumb. The top of the barrel shows standard Winchester markings with "THUMB TRIGGER MODEL" and 1899 and 1905 patent dates. The marking are clear and readable. The sights are a dovetailed front post with a dovetailed V-notch rear. The stock is a one piece straight grip gumwood stained stock with a black hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Winchester sold these rifles between 1904 and 1923. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle

Chambers: Single shot bolt action.
Metal Condition: Very nice refinish on the barrel. The bottom thumb screw slot is worn and so is the finish.
Wood Condition: The refinished stock shows a few minor nicks and dings. No visible splits in the wood.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. No corrosion or pitting.
Barrels: 18" barrel.
Triggers: Thumb trigger.
Stock Dimensions:

Fore End: Smooth wood.
Butt Pad: Hard rubber.
Sights: Drift adjustable dovetail.
