20 inch round barrel chambered in 401 caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Most all original barrel blue remains. Original open sights include a blade front and sporting rear. Receiver also retains most all of the original blue with a few light scratches. 4 shot box magazine. Checkered pistolgrip fancy walnut stock is in very good condition with sharp checkering and a hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Checkered walnut forend is a replacement. One sling eye in the stock with nothing up front. Nice functioning action. About 20,786 manufactured between 1910 - 1936. This early 3 digit serial number first year semi-auto Winchester rifle was made in 1910.
