Description:
The Winchester® XPR combines proven concepts from Winchester's time-tested Model 70 with modern manufacturing processes and materials to produce a great hunting rifle at an affordable price. It has a non-reflective Permacote™ finish on the exterior metal and a camo-finished stock. Precision accuracy is ensured with a solid steel receiver that sits solidly in the polymer stock with a cross-mounted recoil lug, and free-floated barrel. The XPR uses a newly designed M.O.A. Trigger system. The trigger is adjustable for both over-travel and pull weight; the XPR's trigger has zero take-up, zero creep, and zero over-travel, providing a light, crisp trigger pull that is at the heart of every accurate rifle. The bolt on the XPR is made from 1 piece of barstock steel; 3 locking lugs with a short 60° lift keeps the shooter's hand away from the scope when cycling the action. The Winchester XPR Bolt-Action Rifle has a 2-position thumb safety that locks the bolt when engaged. The bolt can also be cycled when the safety is engaged by using the bolt release button. A cocking indicator on the bolt shroud can be seen or felt by the user to know if the rifle is cocked and ready to fire. A detachable, single-stack magazine facilitates loading and unloading the rifle. An innovative Inflex Technology Recoil Pad absorbs recoil considerably. Manufactured 2019. 7mm Remington Magnum
