** SOLD ** 1953 Vintage Winchester Model 71 Deluxe Lever-Action Rifle in .348 W.C.F. w/ Lyman 56 Receiver Sight ** Beautiful Example **

Description:
Winchester model 71 deluxe rifle in .348 WCF caliber. This rifle features a desirable Lyman 56 peep sight, checkered walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock, checkered factory metal buttplate.  This is a post war  "short tang" rifle manufactured in 1953. Barrel is 24" long and has a nice bore, bright and shiny. The factory front sight hood is present and rear barrel sight has been replaced with a williams blank. The rifle retains most all of its original blue finish and slows only very light handling marks and a few tiny areas of light corrosion mostly near the muzzle and on the buttplate. The stock and forend also retain most of their original finish with some light handling marks, mostly on the forend.  A very nice example of a classic Winchester big bore.
