Description: The Winchester Model 1890 is a pump-action rifle chambered in .22 Short, manufactured in 1907. It features a 24-inch octagon barrel and fixed sights. The rifle has a blued finish that has aged to a brown patina, consistent with its period manufacture. The receiver and barrel markings correspond to serial number 322043, matching across components. The stock and forearm are constructed of wood, with the buttstock fitted with a crescent-shaped metal butt plate and the forearm showing the grooved pattern typical of early production examples. The rifle is used and shows age-related wear. The bore is dark, reflecting its long service life. The action remains tight, with mechanical components fitting properly. The wood stock exhibits a crack near the upper tang but remains structurally stable. Metal surfaces display uniform patina rather than active corrosion, and the overall appearance is consistent with a firearm produced and used in the early twentieth century.
