Per correspondence with the Cody Firearms Records Office this fine Winchester 1894 .45-70 left the factory on July 30, 1904 equipped with a 26” octagon barrel. The rifle remains in very fine original condition with an excellent bore. The wood finish is original though slightly thinning in the common spots on the forend. The barrel is mostly browned with traces of finish in the protected area, as is the case colored receiver. A mechanically excellent and perfect shooter with great eye appeal.
