Per correspondence with the Cody Firearms Records Office this fine Winchester 1894 left the factory on March 30, 1906 equipped with a 20” octagon barrel and period replaced buckhorn sights. The gun remains in excellent mechanical condition, with traces of finish left on the frame in the protected areas, with the majority a gun metal grey. The barrel has strong original blue finish with the remainder a pleasant brown patina. The wood is fine with small scattered handling marks but no repairs. The bore is very good. This fine Winchester is perfectly functional and will delight its new owner.
