Winchester 1894 Deluxe, 25-35W. 1912, 8 Special Order Features
26" half round, half octagon rapid taper barrel. Beautiful shinny bore with no pits. This is the only Winchester rifle that I have ever seen with no rear dovetail for rear sight. Takedown is tight and solid. Doublt set trigger. Ordered with Lyman tang sight. Hammer has 3 holes machined through it and filled with cork. After consulting with a couple old-school gunsmiths, we feel this was done to speed up the hammer time. All screws are clean and show very little screwdriver use. Bluing in very nice condition with some bluing loss on sharp edges and forearm cap. Beautiful high grade wood with wood to metal fit is as it left the factory. No cracks, chips, or repairs in wood. This is one rare and unique rifle. It may be one of one to exist.
