Nice one from the family collection: Vintage Winchester Model 52B SN 69,6xxB made in approximately 1950; 28 Inch Heavy Barrel with a Single Band; Original Winchester Semi-Beaver-Tail Straight Grain Stock; Multi-Position Hand-Stop/Sling Swivel; No Rear Sling Swivel, No Sights: front dovetail and receiver holes filled with block & screws, respectively; 3/8” Dovetail Bases on Barrel. Proper Coarse-Checkered Steel Buttplate and all other details are correct. A Single Shot Loading Block is Included along with Buyer’s Choice of Original 5-Shot Magazines (Winchester Floorplate Marking from Front to Back or vice-versa; Magazine A or B or C in photo). The Single Load Block is unmarked and may be reproduction. This rifle shows little wear for its age with Blue largely Preserved and a few minor dents, dings and storage blemishes on the Stock. Condition is best judged by the photos as we are not dealers or experts. With those limitations, and apart from no sights or rear swivel, we estimate the metal and wood condition as substantially better than 90 Percent Original Finish.
