Description: General Specs: Winchester, 1949, .30-30 Winchester, 6lbs. 9oz. LOP 13" Serial Number: 1583915 Americas favorite deer rifle. The perfect hunting gun either on foot or from the saddle, lightweight, nimble and fast to action the 94′ is simple, safe, and reliable. The Model 94 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name; it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred to as the “ultimate lever-action.” This Winchester Model 94, manufactured circa 1949. The barrel shows 97% factory bluing and a mirror bore with strong rifling and chambers the classic .30-30 Winchester. The receiver has 98% blue with some edge silvering at the balance point, excellent screws and excellent wood to metal fit. A sling mount near the toe and a corresponding fix on the magazine tube has been added. This is an honest gun that has been used for its intended purpose, it’s been carried and at some point, in its history, an owner added a sling to make it safer and more practical! Throughout its years of service it’s wood has lost some of its original factory finish. Overall, such a useful gun with honest character marks.
