Description:
This is a Winchester M1 Carbine chambered in 30 Carbine with an 18" barrel. The top of the receiver is marked "U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1" on the front and "WINCHESTER / 6608706" on the rear. The top of the barrel is marked "WP" in an oval. Other features include a Type IV magazine release is marked "M" on the face, hammer is marked "W", Trigger guard is marked "W" on the right side rear, push safety marked "EW", round bolt marked "W", charging handle marked "7160091" and "W". Type 3 barrel band marked "C" for Winchester, front sight is unmarked, 4 rivet upper hand guard marked "C" for Winchester. The Type II rear sight is marked "H in a shield". The walnut stock is marked on the right side with crossed cannons and the sling well is marked "W". Comes with a sling, oiler, and one Winchester "SW" marked ((Stanley Works) 15 round magazine.
