The Winchester Model 1897 is the classic exposed-hammer pump-action shotgun, this example a 12-gauge with a 30" full-choke barrel, manufactured in 1905. It shows honest scratches and handling wear throughout with the blue worn to a grey-brown patina, as expected of a well-used early Winchester. A genuine turn-of-the-century workhorse for the collector or shooter.
