The Winchester Model 55 is a classic solid-frame lever-action chambered in .30 WCF (.30-30), manufactured in 1931 and fitted with a Lyman tang peep sight. This example shows honest handling wear consistent with its age, including thinning of the barrel and receiver blue and light scratching on the barrel, while remaining in excellent mechanical condition. A desirable pre-war Winchester for the collector or shooter.
