The petite.22 caliber slide action take-down rifle. The Winchester Model 62, produced from 1932 to 1958, sold over 409,000 units and served as the successor to the Winchester model 1906. This example, produced 1955, has a straight-grip American walnut stock with plenty of fiddleback and the longer 17 grooved slide. The 23 inch round tapered barrel is chambered for short, long, and long-rifle interchangeably and shows a 10 out of 10 mirror bore. With a creep free trigger and weighing an easy to shoulder 5lb 7ounces this is the quintessential lightweight hammer fired pump. This Model 62A has been skillfully restored by a professional, with the receiver edges staying sharp and defined, and all the roll stamps still crisp.
