WINCHESTER MODEL 69 Bolt Action

Description:
Nice Winchester Model 69 22 Caliber Bolt Action Rifle.
Very good overall condition with a clean bore. This rimfire rifle has two five round clips, one for 22 short and one for 22 long and long rifle. It has the original peep sight. The Model 69 (DOM 1935-1937) cocks the firing pin mechanism when the bolt is closed. The safety is incorporated within the knob at the rear of the bolt. The magazine release is a push button on the left hand side of the stock. There is no serial number on the gun as it was not required until  the Gun Control Act of 1968.
The barrel is 25 inches, weight is 5 pounds, and the overall length is 42 inches.
This piece would be a great addition to a collection. Company policy dictates that shipping will be required to an FFL. Although the gun functions properly it recommended that the purchaser contact a qualified gunsmith before firing.
