Winchester pre 64 Model 70 Varmint .243, serial # 358xxx. Manufactured in 1956, this rifle features a steel widow's peak buttplate. The barreled action retains 97% original factory blue with a few scope mounting marks on the bridges. The bottom metal retains about 97% original finish with one very small spot of discoloring. The wood retains about 95% finish with two noticeable handling marks on the left side at the receiver area, one spot of dented checkering left forearm and a few minor handling marks on the underside of the forearm. Bore and mechanics excellent. The original sling swivels were replaced with studs. Shipping $50.

Overall an early Varmint with desireable features in very good + condition..
