The 455 and 457 22lr rifles are very well-made rifles featuring nicely machined parts along with bolt and receiver mass that's unusual for the price. The bolt to receiver fit is admirably precise as well. Overall, they are attractive and solid rifles that exhibit the "old school" bolt action 22 philosophy. Wood stocks, 2 screws are used to hold the action into the stock, the triggers can be easily upgraded, and when you hold one you feel like you actually have something!
In stock, unmodified condition, they moderately accurate. Due to these rifles possessing the crucial basics, (regarding what makes a fine rifle) generating truly supreme grouping capability is possible with a properly-engineered and well-executed service.
