Hudson Valley Fowler - Early, Converted from Flintlock

Fantastic profile, untouched condition. Stock marked “N.M.F. OLUT” in both sides of butt. Relief-carved shell design at tang. Brass thumb piece on wrist marked “C.C. No. 9.” Beautiful, pierced side plate. Still in its converted percussion format. Overall length over 71″ and barrel is over 56″ long. There is a splice at the front 12" of the forestock. If you decide to do so, you do it at your own risk! This includes working the actions (locks, hammers, triggers, etc.) Old guns (pre-1899) have old parts, including old springs and other internals (we are talking about 150+ years old, on average!). These parts can and do break. You are not buying a new gun; this is an antique/collectible and it is catagorized as such for that reason.
