Description: Antique PERKINS Double Barrel SxS Percussion Shotgun LONG LONDON TWIST Barrel Here we present an antique Perkins Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun, made by Perkins of England, circa 1850. This 10 gauge double gun would have been great for waterfowl in 19th Century Britain. This example is marked “PERKINS” on each lock plate. The overall condition is rough. The metal surfaces are dark with age. The markings are clear and legible. The stock shows all of its use. The bores are dark. The action on this shotgun is nonfunctioning. Hammers will not remained cocked and the rear trigger is absent. This would make a good one for over the fireplace. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.
