Civil War era 10ga double percussion

Description:
Made during the Civil War or before this strong 10 ga double percussion shotgun has  chisel engraved lock-plates and trigger guard, a what appers to be German silver wedge escheceon plates. The 29" damascus barrels have a left tube choke of .770" and .790". Action works well and both nipples have some wear but complete and the  wear.  No name or proofs and may be American made or possilby European where proofs were not needed if a gun was shipped out of the Continent, LOP of the harwood hand checkered wrist area stock is about 14" with an iron butt-plate. Stock is good and appears to be walnut. Comes with a hardwood ramrod with a brass tip.. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
