Description: Antique DEANE, ADAMS & DEANE Double Barrel PERCUSSION 12 Gauge SxS SHOTGUN Nicely ENGRAVED from the Pre-CIVIL WAR Period Here we present an antique Deane, Adams, & Deane Double Barrel Side by Side Percussion Shotgun, made circa the early to mid-1850s in London, England. The top of the barrel is engraved, “Deane, Adams & Deane, Makers to H.R.H. Prince Albert, No. 30 King William Street London Bridge.” The stock has a beautiful grain, checkered at wrist and on the forend. The steel mounts are all finely engraved with a setter engraved on the trigger bow. The lock plates are also engraved with a hunting scene on each lock. They are also engraved “Deane, Adams & Deane.
