Here is your chance to own a one of a kind antique Sempert & Kreighoff underlever shotgun. This pre WWII shotgun has similar profile to the "stalking rifles" of the time with a 27 5/8" barrel with 7" otagon breech section. Matte top rib has German silver blade front sight. Bottom of barrel has a swivel and German proofs. Coin finished underlever action with elaborate floral scroll and woodland scenes engraved featureing pigeons on the right hammer plate, elk on the right side of the action, doe on trigger guard bow, rabbits on the left side. Underlever is made of horn (please note the crack as shown). Double set triggers; rear is set. Checkered walnut forearm with tip acting as retaining latch. Round knob pistol grip walnut stock with sling swivel on toeline, and cheekpiece on left side. LOP: 13" terminates to horn buttplate. WEIGHT: 4 lbs, 1.5 ounces. CONDITION: Very good barrel blue showing scattered areas of worn finish and scratches. Very good coin finish. The wood shows several dings. The bore is shiny.
