Description: Antique 16 g. DOUBLE BARREL Side x Side FLINTLOCK Shotgun SILVER ESCUTCHEON 200+ Year Old Shotgun/FOWLING PIECE Here we present an antique Flintlock Double Barrel Shotgun, made circa late 1700s to early 1800s. This one appears to be from the German states due to the partial name on the locks. This one features Damascus twist barrels and a fox medallion mounted to the top of the stock. The overall condition is good. Good twist pattern on the barrel with a dark patina. The actions are strong. The bores are untouched, smooth and dusty. The stock appears to be oak and is very stout and solid. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrels are 30-1/8 inches.
