Description:
Durs Egg London Double flint shotgun in 22 Gauge. Gold leaf pans, touch holes, barrel bands, and name signature. Locks work well and spark well, Barrel browning has been redone and looks excellent. Wood has several age related dings and scratches and a couple areas of discoloration. Bores are smooth with no pits or rust etc. 33" Long barrels. Set back gold foresight. 14-1/4" LOP to front trigger. Rainpoof pans. Rollers on frizzen springs. Slightly curved bevel edged engraved locks signed D. Egg. Stepped and pointed tails. Recolored swan necked locks. Very ornate and well engraved trigger guard. This gun came from Holt's in England on Sept 21 2021 lot 410. This is exactly what I paid for it with currency exchange and import fees. . Just decided I dont really need it.
