Description: Museum-Condition Italian Percussion Shotgun – Owned by Captain Francis Hall, 7th Hussars An exceptional and historically significant Italian percussion shotgun crafted by F.P. Roghat of Turin, Italy in the mid 1800's, stylistically influenced by the Italian Renaissance. This exquisite firearm once belonged to Captain Francis Hall (1805–1888) of Park Hall, Mansfield Woodhouse, a British officer in the 7th Hussars and High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire (1846).
This shotgun displays harmonious engraving and depth-rich checkering, blending form and function with an artistic eye for detail. Included is the original case in remarkable condition, complete with:
