12-gauge sidelock game gun with 30" blacked round dovetail-lump barrels that are fitted with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. The rib is roll-marked "ARMY & NAVY C.S.L. LONDON." and engraved "2". Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked improved cylinder & improved modified. The patina case color hardened finished action body and lockplates are engraved with fine English Arabesque scrolls with rose bouquets. Both lockplates are engraved Army & Navy C.S.L". The action is fitted with double triggers protected by a blacked and engraved trigger guard with the number "2" bow to a long black and engraved bottom strap with serial number, blacked and engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, English flat-top checkering with borders, drop points, vacant stock oval and splinter fore-end similarly checkered with Anson style push button release and engraved escutcheon and center diamond. 15-3/8" LOP to a checkered butt, 6 Lbs. - 9 Oz.
