This Army & Navy Cooperative Society Ltd. 12 Gauge side-by-side is a very attractive and handy English boxlock game gun. The short 25" Churchill-style rib barrels choked Full & Improved Cylinder, combined with the lightweight straight-grip stock, make it exceptionally quick and pointable — ideal for walked-up grouse, woodcock, quail, or driven shooting.
The boxlock action features tight scroll, border, banner, and bouquet engraving. Double triggers and tang safety provide traditional English-style control. The checkered walnut straight-grip stock has nice figure and measures a comfortable 15 1/4" length of pull.
Condition is near excellent with strong original finishes, crisp engraving, bright bores, and a tight, smooth action.
It is housed in the original Army & Navy violin-style gun case.
