Built with blued steel chopperlump barrels featuring a single brass bead sight on the matted concave solid rib marked “LEADER,” light engraving at the breech, factory and importer markings on the tubes, 1990 Spanish proofs, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a coin finished hand detachable bar-action sidelock with a Holland & Holland style self-opening mechanism housed under the forend. The action is embellished with scroll engraving surrounding finely executed game scenes: pointers with a cock pheasant on the left, a mallard on the underside, and a setter flushing mallards on the right. Additional features include bushed firing pins, hidden third fastener, double triggers, a right-hand rolled trigger guard, and a tang mounted automatic safety. Stocked with a nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved iron and Anson pushrod release, along with a straight grip stock featuring teardrop carved drop points and a checkered bare butt. Measurements: bores proofed/measured 18.5 mm (.728 inches); choke constrictions .019/.038 inches; minimum wall thickness .026/.028 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 14 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 14 oz.
