HENRY ATKIN SIDELOCK EJECTOR 12 GAUGE SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN - 28" BARRELS

28" BARRELS, IMPROVED CYLINDER AND MODIFIED, 2-1/2", DOUBLE TRIGGERS, STRAIGHT HAND GRIP, SPLINTER FOREND, BUTTPLATE, 6 LBS - 11 OZ, 1-5/8" DAC, 2-3/8" DAH, 15-1/4" LOP

English made sidelock ejector 12 gauge game gun with 28" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked improved cylinder & modified. The right barrel is roll marked "HENRY ATKIN. LTD" while the left barrel is roll marked "27. ST JAMES'S ST LONDON. S.W.". The case color hardened finished action body and lockplates are adorned with Foliate Scroll engraving. The left lockplate is engraved "HENRY ATKIN LTD" while the right lockplate is engraved "HENRY ATKIN". The action is fit with a blacked engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The case color hardened double triggers are protected by an engraved trigger guard ending in a medium length bottom strap with serial number. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, drop points and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release. 15-1/4" LOP to a 3/4" scored hard rubber buttplate, 6 Lbs. - 11 Oz. Gun resides in a single canvas Brady case.
