Chokes IC/LM, LOP 14 5/8", 2 1/2", DAC 1 7/16" Serial Number: 527365 Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this clean, delightful, and affordable upland gun from AyA, one of Spain’s premier gunmakers well known the world over for making solid, well finished guns. Crafted in 1979, this 20-gauge No. 3 is built on AyA’s renowned boxlock action, modeled after the Westley Richards Anson & Deeley design, a benchmark of boxlock elegance since 1875. The No. 3 has been AyA’s standard since 1960, combining British-inspired engineering with Spanish craftsmanship. The barrels are tight on face and hinge with the lever sitting just to the right of center. The barrels have mirror bores, tight ribs, and 99% factory blue, and are choked Light Mod and Improved Cylinder, and have 3” chambers. The receiver retains 98% factory bone and charcoal case color, it has hand chiseled borders and is in perfect mechanical condition with crisp double triggers, auto safety and perfect screws. The European Walnut has excellent figure and hand cut flat top checkering paired with a checkered butt and oil finish, length of pull is 14 5/8” with modern dimensions.
