This is an exceptional matched pair of AYA No. 25 side-by-side shotguns with consecutive serial numbers (417251 / 417252). These compact 25" Churchill-ribbed guns are beautifully finished with hand-detachable sidelock actions featuring bouquet engraving, cocking indicators, striker discs, and side clips. Both are gold-inlaid with matching numbers on the rib, top lever, and forend tip.
They are fitted with double triggers, tang safety, ejectors, and Modified & Improved Cylinder chokes. The checkered walnut straight-grip stocks have drop points and measure a very usable 14 3/4" LOP with consistent dimensions and a lively 6 lb 9 oz weight. Gun No. 1 is essentially unfired; Gun No. 2 is nearly identical with only a few minor stock impressions.
A rare and desirable matched pair of AYA No. 25s that would be the centerpiece of any fine English-style shotgun collection or a superb upland hunting duo.
