Up for sale is one of the nicest AYAs I have seen lately. It is a Number 1 Deluxe sidelock model in 16 gauge and weighs just 6 pounds 1 ounce. It was made in 1998. Although it was previously owned, it is in virtually new condition. It has seen almost no use, with perfect blue, case hardening colors and stock finish. I can't see a single rub, scratch, ding or dent anywhere. Being AYA's top model at the time, it has every feature you can imagine on a "bespoke" gun. Some of them are: 1. Absolutely stunning Circassian walnut wood with vivid black streaks running through a chocolate colored background. 2. When you remove the hand-detachable lock plates, you will find that the lock parts on the inside are finely engraved and gold washed. 3. The extra fine engraving of the receiver covers 100% of the surface and appears to copy the Boss style which I consider the finest. 4. Hinged front trigger and rolled edge trigger guard. 5. Chopper lump barrels. 6. Absolutely spectacular bone case hardening colors in 100% condition. 7. Gold initial plate & gold line cocking indicators. 8. Finely cut hand checkering on the wrist and forend in perfect condition. 9. Finally, the gun comes in an Americase Premium aluminum case that will survive even the most severe mishaps.
