AYA ~ Model 4/53 ~ 28 Gauge ~ 2002 Production

Description:
AYA No. 4/53 chambered in 28 gauge with a 27" barrel. The number 4 has been AYA's standard boxlock design since 1960. It is modelled on a Westley Richards boxlock action, brought to Spain by the King brothers. The Anson & Deeley action, the most famous of all boxlock designs, was created by two employees of Westley Richards in 1875, and ever since, Westley Richards guns have defined boxlock elegance. This AYA is a side by side hammerless boxlock ejector shotgun, double locking mechanism with replaceable hinge pin, disc set firing pins, double trigger, 27" chopper lump barrels with concave rib and a front bead sight, light scroll engraving, automatic safety, split bottom plate, walnut stock with initial oval, splinter forend, case colored receiver. The choke stamp on the left barrel is "***" (MOD) and the right is stamped "****" (IC). Comes with the factory matched box. 28 Gauge
