Sidelock ejector 12-gauge game gun with 25" blued round nitro proved chopper-lump barrels that are fitted with ejectors, a tapered narrow Churchill matte rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-3/4" cartridges and choked modified & modified. Gold-Inlaid cartouche with "XXV" on rib near breech. Barrel flats are stamped with Spanish proofs. The case color hardened finished action body and lockplates are adorned with full coverage Churchill style floral, ribbon and scroll engraving, "AGUIRRE & ARANZABAL" in banner on the underside of the action body. The sidelock action features disc-set strikers, gas escapes, gold-lined cocking indicators, a blued engraved top lever with both sides of the thumbpiece checkered and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "S" ahead of the checkered, scored, and engraved safety slide. The double triggers (front articulated) are protected by a blued, engraved, and right edge rolled trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with serial number. Nicely figured best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, drop points, point pattern checkering with borders, engraved stock oval ("RM" - shaded block) and splinter fore-end similarly checkered with Anson style push button release with an engraved escutcheon and center diamond. 14-5/8" LOP to a checkered butt, 6 Lbs. - 6 Oz. Gun resides in an associated single leather toe under VC case.
