This AYA No. 1 12 Gauge side-by-side is a beautifully executed example from circa 1980. It features 28" barrels choked Improved Modified & Modified and is fitted with hand-detachable sidelocks displaying fine scroll and bouquet engraving, cocking indicators, striker discs, and a beautifully hand-engraved gold “SAFE” on the upper tang.
The checkered walnut straight-grip stock shows nice figure and is fitted with a blank oval initial disc in the toe line — 14 5/8" LOP, 1 5/8" DAC, 2 5/8" DAH, 7mm cast-off — with the gun weighing a lively 6 lbs 11 oz.
Condition is excellent plus with crisp engraving, strong case colors, and bright bores.
Housed in the original maker’s Brady case.
