Aya No. 2 Sidelock 28ga

AyA (Aguirre y Aranzabal) No. 2 sidelock ejector in 28ga.  I believe this gun is a 1980 import from William Larkin Moore when they were located in Westlake, CA.  The 27” chopper-lump barrels have 2 ¾” chambers, bright bores, choked M/F.  The gun locks up tight, and the ejectors are strong and in time.  The Holland & Holland style hand detachable locks feature bold floral engraving with strong case colors.  Front trigger is articulated, rolled-edge trigger-guard, disk-set strikers and gold-inlaid cocking indicators.  The lightly figured stock measures 14 5/8” x 1 1/4” x 2, cast is neutral.  The weight is 5lbs 6oz.  Metal conditions are very good with excellent barrel finish and strong case colors and sharp engraving on the receiver.  Wood condition is good with an older finish and a few small marks from use over the years.  A delightful upland wand ready for the field.  The gun comes with a Kevin’s canvas case with Aya trade label.  $4000.00
