This listing is for a very nice AYA 25 Boxlock with the high rib and 25 inch barrels.  This gun is made for shooting fast flushing quail and woodcock.  As the pictures show the engraving is fine and maintains 95% of the original case colour hardening. The wood is in very nice shape and the bluing is in great shape.  The triggers are good and the ejectors are well timed.  The gun weighs in at 6lbs 1oz with a 14 ¾ LOP.  The stock is oil rubbed with drop points.  The gold on the rib and the safety is still strong.

One of the most famous English guns of the early 20th century was the E.J Churchill XXV – a 25-inch barreled gun developed by the English shooting instructor, Robert Churchill. Churchill combined his short barrels with a special high, tapered rib which gives the shooter an optical impression of length. The XXV was especially popular with shooters of smaller stature, and retains a following to this day. For many years, AYA has offered guns in this high quality configuration.
