The 828U Upland Performance Shop model features a host of factory-custom upgrades to give the user unrivaled performance. A slightly shorter length of pull and 24-inch barrels promote control and speed. The stock is fitted with Benelli‚s Progressive Comfort System that consists of internal polymer buffer springs to absorb the recoil of even the heaviest of loads. The receiver also features Benelli‚s patented Steel Locking System that eliminates wear and tear on the receiver and hinge where failure points are common, and features extractors for complete control over the loading and unloading process.

The 828U Upland Performance Shop series comes with 5 Crio® choke tubes (C, IC, M, IM, F) and an additional 3 Rob Roberts Triple Threat extended performance chokes. This model is chambered in 20-gauge with a 3\" chamber and comes with a Benelli-standard shim kit to adjust the stock fit to user preference.
