Description:
A lightweight modern field gun with classic styling, the Benelli Montefeltro is a popular choice for hunters looking for a gun that is as much at home at the on the trap line as it is in a blind. The Montefeltro series is known for its very light weight and buttery-smooth action, resulting in an effortless swing and natural-feeling operation. This Italian shotgun is chambered in 12 gauge and can accept up to 3" shells. The 26" barrel features a ventilated rib with fiber optic front sight and is textured all along the length to reduce glare. The receiver has a red anodized aluminum follower for quick identification of when the magazine tube is empty. This Montefeltro is in fair condition. From the outside and in the barrel, the gun is pretty good. But, upon closer inspection there are a few issues to be addressed: the fiber optic pipe is missing from the front sight and there are deep cracks in the walnut stock at the lower rear near the buttpad. The walnut forend is missing one anti-rotation tab and the other has been glued and repaired at some point. The endcap detent assembly also has been damaged and is effectively sandwiched into place when assembled. However, the shotgun is sold with an additional set of OEM black synthetic furniture that is in new condition, as well as three choke tubes (full, modified, improved cylinder) and choke wrench. 12 Gauge
